La Gacilly is a picturesque town in the middle of Brittany, between Rennes and Vannes, close to the Broceliande forest. Here you will see traditional Breton houses, surrounded by vegetation, on the banks of the Aff river. Every summer (from early June till late September) a surprising photography festival takes place about the "people & nature" theme. It has even become the main outdoor photography festival in France.

You will also be able to discover the work of some craftsmen living in the town, along alleys well worth seeing even when the festival is over.

La Gacilly is also famous being Yves Rocher's birthplace. The headquarters and a laboratory of the company specialized in cosmetics are located here. In addition, you can discover a botanical garden of vegetal cosmetics, an immersive museum and a hotel-spa center too.
