Visite Bretagne Alternative gives you the opportunity to explore the region from the inside with a local guide, through private tours, customized for your group, whether you travel as a couple, with 10 people or solo!
- Where ?
We offer tours all around Brittany, on the coastline but also in the inlands. Our tours will take you through the diversity of landscapes, Breton towns and cities, at your own pace and we will be pleased to consider your special interests.
Here are some examples of tours we offer on a regular basis : Rennes, Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel, Dinan, Fougères, the forest of Broceliande, the Pink Granite coast, Vannes and the Gulf of Morbihan, Carnac, Nantes, Guérande ...
- On demand schedule
Visite Bretagne's tours are designed for two hours, some for half a day or a day... or any duration that suits your schedule better, all year round! We also design itineraries over a few days.
Private tours are booked for your group on the day and time that suit you best. Every excursion may be custom-made, to adapt to your wishes and agenda. Prices are mentioned for the group for every tour on its dedicated webpage. For groups beyond 6 people, or if you have special requests about duration or time (early in the morning, in the evening...), prices are available upon request ; you always know the total price before booking.
- Walking tours or with transport...
Our tours are generally pedestrian, but if necessary it is also well practicable to alternate walk and car for most tours. By the way we may combine these tours with our private transport service, if you do not have your own vehicle (we meet at your accommodation or company, at the train station, airport...), or simply if you prefer to enjoy the landscape rather than focus on the drive !

Our tours are proposed in English, French and Russian.

These tours are also intended for companies willing to let their collaborators, partners and clients discover a few facets of the Breton patrimony.
List of the private tours offered by Visite Bretagne
Tours within a group
Some shared tours are organized too : you join a group of other participants on a specific day, time and place for a pedestrian tour. Booking is required, according to the schedule described on the specific webpages for the tours allowing the group version : Saint Malo, Rennes, Dinan, Mont Saint Michel....
Most group tours last 2 hours. They are deliberately organized for a small number of people (from 5 to 15-20 people) so it facilitates communication within the group and allows for a qualitative visit. These tours are organized provided we have a minimum number of participants. After your booking request, we send you a confirmation for the visit closer to the date and when we reach this minimum number.
Practical information regardless of the type of tour :
- The meeting place for each tour is stated when booking is made.
- Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need advice on transport to our excursion places.
- We suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes.
Irrespective of the booking of tours, Visite Bretagne also suggests for your stay in Brittany :
- a private transport service (transfers)
- accommodation in our Bed and Breakfast in Combourg (2 rooms)
